About Dana
Helping people buy and sell real estate is Dana Herron’s first love. A favored agent among first-time homebuyers and experienced investors alike, she has been serving the Shasta County region since becoming licensed in 2015. She launched her real estate career with one promise: to treat everyone who dreams of owning a home seriously and help them achieve both their goals and dreams.
Dana credits her degree in interdisciplinary studies (with minors in business and social science) for instilling the skills needed to develop reciprocal relationships with lenders, title agents, buyers, and sellers. Before joining the ranks at Upside Real Estate, she was a small-business owner grooming pets, and then went on to help adults and children with special needs realize their potential. After discovering upward financial momentum from homeownership herself, she became excited to share the opportunity with others and make it achievable by working hard on her clients’ behalf while keeping them updated and informed throughout the entire process.
According to Dana, handing clients the keys to their new home is like the feeling you get setting the last piece of a complex jigsaw puzzle into place. Dana is a natural optimist and problem solver who works through difficult situations to get the job done. She is also a certified transaction coordinator, and as such, she knows the back-office file-handling duties of real estate that keep a transaction running smoothly. As the local market evolves, she is looking forward to meeting new people and showing them what real estate ownership can offer her clients.
Dana is also an award-winning photographer; taking professional pictures of property listings is yet another talent that she brings to the table. Although real estate may be her main passion, Dana loves softball and spending time with her family; and, of course, she will always have a soft spot in her heart for animals.
